I have fallen in love with these Rifle Paper Co. cards!  Who wouldn't want a little gold hello in their mailbox?

I couldn't help myself.  I needed a full sheet of these butterflies!  They're the make-up stamps that Canada Post recently released.  Just add one to a 63 cent stamp from last year and you've got the right amount to mail a letter in-country!

cookbook obsession

As always, I have a pretty tall pile of books from the library on our coffeetable. The stack right now includes several cookbooks.  (My obsession!)  Three current favourites are Superfood Kitchen, Giada's Feel Good Food and Fresh.  I just love discovering a new recipe and whipping it up.  Yesterday's discovery: watermelon, strawberry, ginger, lime smoothie!

new postage rates

Today's the day.  Canada Post's new postage rate for domestic letters is now one dollar!  You can read more about the 2014 postage rates here.

I went to my local post office this morning and clarified the new rates.  Postage for domestic letters is one dollar when you buy a single stamp.  If you're using old postage the domestic rate is 85 cents.
